Well, i've begun preliminary editing and rewriting; there's a lot of stuff i wrote a long time ago which has a different feel and less sense of direction then the newer material. I'm also working on finish all those chapters that are dangerously close to being done, but for whatever reason where never finished, like equipment and magic and whatnot.
I've been brainstorming some more for my next book, the monster book, and have now got a list of 105 monsters to develop. i plan on there being 100 creatures in the book, but i will continue to come up with new creature ideas so that i can weed out the weeker concepts to make the best product i can.

Another couple uneventful weeks as far as Autonoma goes. i’ve got a playtest copy of the game and a few preview books in a local game shop, and according to the shop owner, many people are taking a look at it.

So i've been working 52 to 54 hours a week for the past month, and so little real work has been done on the book recently. I've continued to work on describing nations and they are coming along quite well.

My co-conspirators and i have begun developing the Unknown world, or what exists beyond the lands detailed in the campaign setting. It looks like its going to be a high fantasy campaign full of magic and wonder. Also, Will Orr has supplied me with his own personal psionics rules, which will be worked into the game.

The Monster book, which is slated for our second release, now has over 90 monsters in the works, a new system of magic for the chaotic rehzem creatures and stats for the monstrous personalities of the Autonoma game.

Well, it has been a busy few weeks in my life. I've finally finished up college. Well, being that i've been unhumanly busy, i've accomplished very little as far as the book goes. I've finished the Behind the Scenes chapter, including the cosmology and history of the world from an objective point of view and the description of the various planes of existence in the autonoma world.

I've also begun working on an adventure module to release simultaneously with the book, it's an intro adventure that i have run before for my playtesters. And i've begun work on the next book to be released after the campaign setting and adventure, the monster book, which i've got 75 monsters planed for already, and a few even complete already.

Last night, I recieved the completed Elven Pantheon from my friend and playtester Isaac. I have also done more work on the locations and finished the Flatlands and passed a few on to Isaac to work on. Welcome to the Isaac, our new developer and writer.

Got a little more round up work done, the equipment chapter is nearly complete. I also recieved the Farmstead, the plane of existence where the halfling deities reside, from Ezra

[ 7.9.04 ]
In the past few day i've developed many minor regions from paragraph descriptions to one and a half to two page descriptions, including the Beastlands, I've also recieved the Greenskin pantheon from ezra and he's done work on the planes of existence for the pantheons he's written.

[ 6.30.04 ]
It's been a very productive couple of days. I've finished two more pantheons, the Trinity of the Sky, the small pantheon of the CuetzlTenoshan people and the Pantheon of the Sun, worshipped by the remaining sun elves and the people of Nafrin and Sadon in the south. I also expanded both the troll nation of Khrohn and the Old Growth Forest, home of the wood elves, making what was prior to yesterday a paragraph or two each. Now, they're two pages each.

[ 6.27.04 ]
It was a busy week in my little world, but I got a lot of work done on the equpiment chapter, which is now nearly done, as well as work on the Minor Regions chapter, which is in need of the most work still. Additionally, ezra is working parallel to myself currently busting ass on the 80+ deities. He's finished two entire pantheons in the past few weeks, the dwarven and halfling pantheons, and is workin on his third, the Greenskin pantheon.

On a side note, I got rid of a few things that were planned for the campaign book. Either i scrapped them completely out of rage and or frustration, or pulled them out and dropped them into the notes for one of the other books that are in the works in addition to the campaign book. Nothing important has been lost, but the editting helped the whole book by removing a few problem areas that were stalling the whole process.

[ 6.19.04 ]
The new page is up and running.

[ 06.15.04 ]
Playtest version .80 of Autonoma is now available and streaming out of my laser printer. This is my 16th printing of the book. I remember when the book was almost 100 pages and I was impressed and thought it was almost done. Now, its over 240 pages when printed, and I still think its almost done.

[ 06.13.04 ]
Sorry for the long leave of absence. Had to deal with graduating from college and other crazy-ass-shit like that. While I didn't update the webpage, I did to an extensive amount of work on the webpage.

Lets see. The history chapter, people of importance chapter, races chapter, characters chapter, rules chapter, life in Sadora chapter, and bestiary chapter are all done, as well as some serious editing. The Major Regions chapter, equipment chapter, magic chapter and Behind the Scenes chapter are mostly done. The other few chapters still need some serious work. But we're getting there.

Also, we've begun playtesting Autonoma. Thanks to David Miller, we've gotten some serious balance work done on the game. If anyone is interested in playtesting, please let me know. I'll snail-mail you a copy of my book or two, and keep updating you whenever I feel the playtesters need to be.

[ 03.03.04 ]
Well, I finally have a chance to work on the book again. Its been a busy few weeks of finals. I'm working on at least basic descriptions of all of the countries and areas as well as finishing the descriptions of how the classes work in my world and the new classes. Hopefully, the playtest book will be done soon.

[ 02.18.04 ]
I haven't had much time to work on the book lately, due to far too much school and work, but I have put together a playtest version of our book, about 175 pages from our 230+ pages. We've also begun finding people to playtest the game. In a month or so, we're printing the playtest version for people; it's playable and contains most of the new races (25 playable races) and a dozen or so prestige classes, as well as most of the new rules. We've taken out a lot of the stuff that still needs work and will continue to work on those rules and send them out to the playtesters when they're ready to try.

[ 01.26.04 ]
New flash site up. Over the weekend I finalized quite a few rules, including the bioware and steamsuit rules, allowing for steam powered bipedal seige engines and magically animated mechanical parts to be grafted onto characters. These are rules I've been fighting with for over a year. Thank a slow day at work for this.

Got myself another writer tonight. A fellow employee from work offered to write fiction and help me flesh out the history. In addition, since last i updated i've worked more on the characters chapter as well as the equipment and I started the lifestyles chapter, describing life on our world. So far i've got their calendar, system of time telling and how they keep track of years done.

Met with ezra today and we set down plans to put out a playtest version of the book in a month or so. I will include most of the new rules and classes, some of the creatures prestige classes, history, setting info and anything else we've got done at the time.

School work is slowing me down, and I haven't had a lot of time to work on the game. But the little time I have worked on the game has been fruitfull. Most of the races are typed up, some class variants are in progress, as well as much of the geography chapter is coming together with a little help from ezra.

[ 01.06.04]
Back from christmas break. I did a lot of work over the vacation. The characters chapter doubled in size, and i now have all the races at least in note form if not typed up.
